Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association, the AQHA affiliate for California, will undertake a public process involving all local associations and show management in California to develop a proposal to be submitted to the Region 7 Steering Committee in early 2012. “While there is no assurance that the Regional Show will be held in California in 2013” said PCQHA President Terry Skevington” PCQHA wants to make sure we put together the most competitive proposal possible”.
PCQHA membership will also be asked to weigh in on any proposals received from California shows interested in hosting the 2013 Region 7 Championship Show.
 “Once we have received proposals from local show management that meet the guidelines set up by the Region 7 Steering Committee, we will also be looking for input from all PCQHA members “said Marc Ristow, the Chair of the PCQHA Show Committee. “We believe that by involving the entire PCQHA membership in the process we will develop the strongest proposal possible” said Ristow.
